Frequently asked questions.

  • When placing your reservation, please be sure to include the name of your arriving airline and flight number. Our system will automatically receive tracking updates that will notify us of any changes to your flight status.

  • One day prior to your pickup, your driver from Backcountry Transport will send you a text confirming your ride. If landing at the SLC International Airport, please follow the detailed instructions provided by your driver on where to meet. They will also send you a text once they arrive for your pickup.

  • Backcountry Transport provides complimentary car seats or booster seats as needed. Please be sure to include this request in your reservation.

  • If you would like or need to make a stop along the way, please let us know in your reservation request so that we can plan accordingly. Stops that are not requested in advance will be honored if time permits depending on other upcoming rides already scheduled for your driver.

  • -For any rides that take place between the hours of 11pm and 6am, there is an additional $50.00 fee. However, we do not charge cancellation fees.

    -For any extra stops, there is a $10.00 fee per stop. If driver has to wait longer than 10 minutes, it will be an additional $1/minute.

    -If a waiting period is required for your driver between your pickup and drop-off, there is an additional $75.00 fee per hour.

    -Due to scheduling, these additional fees are only applicable if the driver’s schedule permits.

  • Standard policy: Your card will be billed at completion of each ride by your driver.
